The Peak Performance FIS Freeride World Tour (FWT) returns for the 2025 winter season with six premier stops across Europe and North America, kicking off in Baqueira Beret, Spain.


The 18th season of the Freeride World Tour also includes the highly anticipated return to France with a brand-new stop in Val Thorens. Additionally, looking ahead to the 2026 winter season, the Freeride World Tour announced the first-ever FIS Freeride World Championships, to be held in Ordino Arcalis, Andorra from February 1-6, 2026. These Championships will be a historic milestone for the sport, showcasing freeride on the world stage.

2. FREERIDE WORLD TOUR VAL THORENS, February 1, 2025; Location: Cime Caron, Val Thorens, France.


3. FREERIDE WORLD TOUR KICKING HORSE, February 7-13, 2025; Location: Ozone Face, Kicking Horse, Golden, British Columbia, Canada.


4. FREERIDE WORLD TOUR GEORGIA PRO, February 23 - March 1, 2025; Location: Khakhiani Face, Tetnuldi, Georgia.


5. FREERIDE WORLD TOUR SAALBACH FIEBERBRUNN, March 8 -13, 2025; Location: Wildseeloder face, Saalbach Fieberbrunn, Kitzbüheler Alpen, Austria.


6. YETI XTREME VERBIER March 22 - 30, 2025; Location: Bec des Rosses, Verbier, Switzerland.



The Freeride World Tour (FWT) is the premier big mountain freeskiing and snowboarding tour in the world, featuring the sport’s top athletes competing in the world’s best mountain resorts. Created in 2008, the FWT became even more global in 2012 following the union of the North American-based Freeskiing World Tour, The North Face Masters of Snowboarding, and the European-based Swatch Freeride World Tour.

FWT Management SA, based in Verbier-Switzerland, has been organizing world-class sports events in mountain resorts and regions since 1996. Founder of “Verbier Xtreme”, an iconic event in freeride skiing & snowboarding, FWT Management SA, has taken in 2008 this stand-alone event to create several series of international freeride competitions totaling over 200 events around the globe for professional, amateur, and junior riders and 6,000 licensed riders.

FWT Management SA is the organizer of the following Series: Freeride World Tour (FWT), Challenger, Qualifier, and Junior events taking place in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Oceania.
